ALUNAN RABBANI

Alunan Rabbani is an performance-based event which was held to increase the awareness
of the incoming ramadhan with song regarding the Ramadhan. The performance will include
tarannum, nasheed, qasidah, poetry and acoustic music performances. This event is also
a new method of spreading dakwah in the new modern surroundings. This event will also
practices the way of Islamic entertainment.

AMBANG KASIH RAMADHAN

Ambang Kasih Ramadhan enlighten the spirit of ramadhan with the next day to come was the
1st fasting day.With “Menghayati Ramadhan Rasulullah” theme, Muslim will learn how is it
Prophet Muhammad pbuh fast actually which was to purify our hearts. We will invite the hafiz
students from Pondok Hidayatullah for a day to share a life in UTP. The event will also have a
Ramadhan talk, NurusSollihin session and continue with qiamulail. This event is collaboration
with Lajnah Kebajikan Perpaduan LKP RM.

EXHIBITION : THE ART OF HIS WORD

Arabic calligraphy is an art that have been introduced a long time ago. It is one of the most
precious arts in Islam. However, trough decade, may people have forgotten the aesthetic value
and to appreciate its art. Without realize it, the art of calligraphy, more or less would spark non-
Muslims’ interest to know more about Islam. Therefore, this exhibition is to show the students
of UTP the art which has been overlooked by Muslim. Therefore, yayasan restu was invited to
demonstrate the Beauty of Islamic Calligraphy.

• Ramadhan health campaign
• History of Great Muslim postershow

KEMBARA BAITULMAL “AHLAN WA SAHLAN YA AKHI”

The tag line “Ahlan wasahlan ya Akhi” Kembara Baitulmal is a motivational program with the
new muslims in collaboration with Baitulmal. There will be several modules and sharing session
from our brothers that will be organized between the committee of Ramadhan Discovery. The
purpose of this activity is to create a feeling of grateful to be a Muslim. This event will be in the
form of “ziarah” to our new brothers’ home

RAMADHAN PHOTO CONTEST

Due Date: 13 August 2011

Photography is a trend nowadays. Ramadhan Photo Contest combines talents and the beauty
of ramadhan. It is to promote of creativity and innovativeness in doing da’wah while capturing
the special moment and the spirit of ramadhan. The participant will have to submit 3 photos
captured during ramadhan season in Universiti teknologi Petronas with blessing, forgiveness
and free from hellfire theme on each photo. The submitted photo will be published in
Ramadhan Discovery Facebook Group to be judge by vote.
